Humanity is now more connected than at any other time in history.
Heck, we're going to be a multiplanetary species soon.
There are big changes coming, people. The direction that we head in right now as a country and as a species could veer wildly in one direction or the other. Disruptive technologies, geopolitical events, and the moral stagnation that is prevalent in our world today has to be checked. We need to make sure that when decisions are made, they come from a place of principles and ethics and vision; not spin, and politics, and snarking.
Progressivism has had its chance. We've done it. We're progressing.
We're trying here at this website to present an idea of what humanity can be in this time of unparalleled change. We think that conservatism is based on the idea that given an option, we need to say,
"Woah, woah, woah, let's think about this for a second. What are we trying to do here?"
Should we really be doing this? What are the facts on this subject? What other ideas are out there other than what the mainstream media and political parties are presenting? As Modern Conservatives, we evaluate the issues of the day that are important to us from a place of reason.
You know who thought like that? Lincoln. And Burke. And the Founding @#$%ing Fathers. We need to have progress for humanity's sake, not progress for progress's sake. We know there are other people that think like us, and we are trying to give your ideas a mouthpiece.
Anyone can contribute, and if you make the cut we will post your article to further the intellectual debate for all conservatives here in America. We believe that the silent majority can no longer be silent, because of the stakes. Decisions made today will affect trajectory decades from now.
